Jordan came into our world on Feb 17, 2007, (the
same birth date in Feb, as the hoop star Michael
Jordan). Right from the start Jordan was "special".
He was among 4 red boys, 2 black girls and 3 black
boys. This litter was beautiful...such bone, beautiful
heads, and the sweetest temperaments around!!! All
of them!....
I was intending to "keep" a female, and hadn't even
given it a thought to hang onto a male, yet alone a
"red male"!!!!....BUT...there was something about
him that just couldn't be denied.
Jordan has substance with elegance, an upper arm
that allows for good reach and matching angles in
the rear to be able to cover ground with little
effort...gorgeous full head (he got from his sire) with
beautiful large teeth and perfect occlusion. (he got
from both parents).
He is typical of most "red boys", full of himself,
happy and always wanting to play,............ anything..,
it doesn't matter what, just so he can PLAY!!!
He was entered at the 2007 Nationals, but a month
before the Nationals his rambunctiousness got him
into trouble!!.. He ran into a stone deer in our yard
and put a hairline fracture in his shoulder...DARN!
He had to be kept quiet..,yah, Right!!!....for at least 3
weeks. So that left one week before the Nationals
(Futurity) to get him basically trained....By the time
the Nationals came he was just rearing to run, play,
you name it...so gaiting properly on a lead was not in
his agenda... still, considering his behaviour, he still
placed FIRSTin his huge 6-9 AOAC Futurity Class!
(The breeder/ judge was knowledgeable not only
about puppies, but of structure, so could look past
his puppy antics and not moving like he should !!)
With a couple great handler's, (Ms AnnRamsbottom
White and Ms Vicky Seiler) he finished in 9 total
weekends. (His bumbling owner/ breeder put 2 pts
on him at one of those weekends, it was not
PRETTY!.., but the judges could see he was a nice
dog, with a BAD handler!!!)
He was soon sporting the title AKC Champion.
We thought we'd try and get his Can Championship.
Walla!...in 5 shows, he was sporting the Canadian
Champion Title. Eventually I would like to finish his
UKC title, as he is halfway in points.
Actually, Jordan was NEVER out of the ribbons in
either the States or Canada while campaigning.

He has a wonderful, happy temperament, but
watchful, and is not shy. He has great reach and
drive, that it doesn't take him long to get some
place!!
He will be heart monitored sometime in the next
year. Although we all know at this young age, it is
really hard to say about cardio problems! His
pedigree does have alot of longevity behind him, so I
am hoping he will follow the genetic pathway his
ancestors took and live a long and healthy life!!
